In Rawlins, city council expressed surprise when the only project put forward to receive Wyoming Community Gas grant money this year was a downtown lighting project. The Downtown Development Authority submitted a $10,000 request for an illuminated gazebo.

The governing body opted to hold off making a decision until its next meeting. The city must declare its community project or projects by December 30th. Cali O’Hare reports.
