Replacing the parts of the water treatment system in Rawlins keeps getting more expensive: Public Works is set request $90,000 for another set of 40 screens. The second set will be used to refurbish filter #4. Council already authorized an emergency payment of $98,000 to replace the screens in filter #1, which failed earlier this summer. Cali O’Hare has the latest update in this ongoing story.
