Water woes in Rawlins are far from over. The municipality will spend nearly $100,000 — almost all of its contingency fund — for an emergency purchase of replacement screens for filter #1 at the water treatment plant. The filter went down in June, reducing the plant’s ability to process and treat water by 25 percent. Cali O’Hare reports.
