In Saratoga, another Town Hall position has come open. This time it’s the recreation director. At Tuesday night’s meeting, Mayor Creed James read the resignation letter submitted by the current rec director, Lisa Burton.
Council accepted the resignation and approved a second motion to advertise for the position.
Earlier this year, the governing body approved a budget for a full-time recreation director along with a job description. Councilman Ben Spaulding said after the meeting that several people have expressed interest in the position.
