Students can explore job opportunities this fall. November 9th marks the annual Career Fair held at Rawlins High School. Every year, businesses from across the county attend in hopes of attracting young people to their particular industry.

Rawlins High School Guidance Secretary Tiffany Wrigley said students from across Carbon County come to the fair.

In 2021, around 40 businesses, as well as colleges and the armed forces, came to the fair asking young people to consider a career in their field. Wrigley said she anticipates a larger turnout this time.

Several of the organizations offer students a sneak peek into their industry with internships and entry level positions. Wrigley said students can get in contact with employers or recruiters to learn more about how these careers would fit them.

The 2022 Career Fair will be held in the gymnasium at the Rawlins High School on November 9th, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A complete list of attendees will be provided at a later date.
