Students at Rawlins Middle School have set a goal of raising at least $2,000 before December 20th in order to purchase toys for local youth who may not otherwise receive presents this Christmas. The homeroom classes are competing against one another to bring in the most money. The winning class will then go on a shopping spree to purchase hundreds of toys, which will be delivered on Christmas Eve.

Cali O’Hare spoke with two of the students involved in the effort and filed this report.
