The woman accused of opening fire in a Saratoga neighborhood before Christmas will be back in in court later today.

Twenty-eight-year-old Victoria Rose Tidball is charged with the early-morning December 16th shooting of Saratoga resident Bradley McBride’s house and vehicle. During her initial hearing on January 19th, Tidball waived her right to a speedy trial. Her next court appearance is scheduled for 2:30 this afternoon.

Tidball is facing eight charges, including attempted first degree murder, stemming from the December 16th shooting. Tidball is accused of firing over 40 rounds from her Glock handgun at McBride’s home, located at 306 Veterans Street.

The incident allegedly occurred after Tidball and McBride, who was her romantic partner at the time, had an argument about McBride potentially selling his dog. In court documents, Tidball is said to have told investigators that she had an “epic freak out” after learning of McBride’s plan for the animal.

Following the argument, Tidball is alleged to have retrieved her Glock pistol from her 2003 Ford Ranger and proceeded to fire over 40 rounds at McBride’s house and Jeep Gladiator, reloading at least twice.

When Saratoga Police arrived at the scene, Tidball was gone. After the shooting, court documents say Tidball went to the home of 34-year-old Cody Ellenson to conspire to escape the police.

A witness at the Whistle Pig Saloon said Tidball and Ellenson were seen together at the bar the night of the shooting. The same witness said Ellenson stole several hundred dollars in cash from the saloon before making his escape with Tidball.

Court documents state that police were able to contact Tidball’s cell phone and the suspect expressed a desire to turn herself in. Tidball was taken into custody in Lexington, Nebraska on December 29th.

Law enforcement is still searching for Cody Ellenson.

Tidball is facing eight charges in Carbon County Circuit Court. The counts include attempted first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault and battery, one count of felony property destruction, a count of accessory after the fact, related to the Whistle Pig theft, domestic assault, the theft of McBride’s cell phone, and reckless endangering.
