The Saratoga Police Department wants to replace a flaky radio repeater that’s failed officers and the fire department at least twice in the last two months.

Chief Kenneth Lehr reported to town council how expensive the patchwork repair bill is getting and estimated that the equipment might be 10 to 12 years out of date.

Emma Diercks has details on the grants SPD wants to pursue for an estimated $10,000 replacement.
