Saratoga is still without a permanent mayor. Tuesday’s night Town Council meeting was less contentious than previous meetings discussing the issue, but an emotional plea from a resident to select councilwoman D’Ron Campbell to fill the vacancy was rejected.

The appointment will have to wait until a new council is seated after the first of the year. Emma Diercks has the story.
