At last report from the incident command team, the Mullen Fire was listed at 25,250 acres and growing.

Officials say the fire is likely to grow dramatically this weekend because of strong winds ahead of an approaching cold front.

The strong winds could fan the flames as well as suspend air support operations, resulting in a bleak outlook. Emma Diercks reports.
