Advisory group recommends City of Rawlins obtain deer culling permit

The Urban Mule Deer Advisory Group in Rawlins is recommending the city council pursue a Chapter 56 permit that will allow for the lethal culling of a small portion of the resident herd.

In a work session held Tuesday night, members of the advisory group met met with the city council and Wyoming Game and Fish personnel to discuss the plan. Cali O’Hare was at the meeting and has the latest update in this ongoing story.

Saratoga airport board to reform as advisory group

The Saratoga Town Council approved the third and final reading of ordinances to dissolve the airport board and reform it as an advisory board. The governing body also addressed comments made by Councilman Wilcoxson last meeting about people outside of municipal limits making public comments. Emma Diercks reports.

 

 

Attorney general: No collusion between Trump and Russia

During a wildly anticipated news conference in Washington, D.C. this morning, Attorney General William Barr announced that the Special Counsel established by congress found no evidence of collusion between the Trump presidential campaign and the Russian government.

Barr also said that after reviewing 10 incidences of possible obstruction of justice identified by Special Counselor Robert Mueller in his report, the attorney general’s team found no criminal intent on the part of the president.

After the news conference, the 400-page report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election was released to congress. It is also available online at the U.S. Department of Justice website.
