County gets new motor graders

Everyone loves a good deal. The Carbon County Road and Bridge Department landed a real bargain: Three motor graders for the price of one.

The all wheel drive machines will be stationed around the county, making snow plowing and other maintenance operations more efficient than ever. Cali O’Hare reports.

 

 

Saratoga clinic partners with Ivinson for expanded services

The Platte Valley Clinic continues to expand its services to the community. The administration has partnered with Ivinson Memorial Hospital to bring several specialists to Saratoga. Emma Diercks report.

Commissioners seek bids for road and bridge shop

Carbon County Commissioners will put the new design for the road and bridge shop at Medicine Bow out for bid next month.

The complex will feature two buildings — a shop and the other temporary living quarters for county workers.

Discussion over zoning officer continues

In Saratoga, a budget amendment to fund a full time zoning officer failed, but the effort to fill the gap continues.
