Details of an incident in Saratoga on Saturday night are unclear, but two men were taken into custody near the hot pools in a situation where the officer reportedly draw his gun.
Multiple backup units from the Sheriff’s Department and Encampment PD responded.
Around 9:30 p.m. dispatch cautioned Saratoga police about an individual with several priors, including a DUI revocation with an interlock device required on the vehicle. About five minutes later, dispatch issued the call for back up to the scene.
Backup units continued to the scene even after the officer at the scene said he had two people in handcuffs.
Statements were taken at the scene from the small crowd that gathered. The suspects were arrested and taken to the county detention center in Rawlins. Bigfoot 99 will continue to follow this story.
