A widespread storm continues to unleash widespread snow, strong winds and below-freezing temperatures across Southern Wyoming.

Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Laramie remains closed because of the hazardous travel conditions. WYDOT has not given any indication when the interstate will reopen.

Heavy snow is expected in the Snowy and Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges. A winter storm warning is in effect for Carbon County until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.
