CSU stayed in the game at the free throw line, Saturday afternoon, then pulled away late in the second half for a 79-68 win over Wyoming.
The Cowboys led the Rams 59-50 at the 10:53 mark of the second half. CSU then built momentum, using the free throw line, to work their way back into the game. The Rams took the lead, 64-66 at the at the 5:10 mark, and held on for the win.
The Cowboys only scored 28 points in the second half, after leading by three at the half.
The Rams used the free throw line to seal the win. The Wyoming broadcast team of Keith Kelley and Kevin McKinney described the game through brown-and-gold-colored glasses.
The Cowboys got into trouble, missing 14 of 15 shots down the stretch. Sophomore Damarion Dennis led the Cowboys with 21 points. Khaden Bennett added 13.
Wyoming shot 41 percent from the floor—27 of 66. The Pokes went 9 of 29 from three, 31%. The Pokes shot five of eight from the free throw line.

The Cowboys return home to battle Fresno State at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Bigfoot 99 will be on the air at 6 with the pregame show.
