Bigfoot 99 will carry the final home game of the Wyoming football season Saturday afternoon. Kickoff against Hawaii is set for 12 noon.

Wyoming Head Coach expressed great respect for both the University of Hawaii and second year head coach Timmy Chang this week.

Coach Chang has reinstituted the run-and-shoot offense that he ran when he was a quarterback at Hawaii. Chang played five seasons at Hawaii, 2000 to 2004. He left his mark in the college record books, starting 53 career games. He broke the old NCAA Division I-A all-time records of 1,231 completions in 1,883 attempts. Chang’s 16,910 yards in total offense broke the previous NCAA record.

Chang sets a high mark for his young players.

Wyoming, meanwhile, is looking to move to 7-and-0 at home for the first time in program history. A Cowboy win would also lock down a bowl appearance and smooth the sting from the last two weeks of losses.

Tomorrow’s matchup will be the 28th meeting between the two teams and the 27th time Wyoming and Hawaii will play for the right to keep the Paniolo trophy.

Yippie, yae, Yae! Wyoming and Hawaii kick off tomorrow in Laramie on Senior Day. Bigfoot 99 will be on the air bright and early 10:30. Kickoff is set for high noon in a showdown between two Mountain West teams.
