Wyoming beat Air Force Tuesday night at home on Senior Night inside the Arena Auditorium 74-63.

Seniors Brenden Wenzel, Sam Griffin Akuel Kot scored 58 of the 74 points in the win.

Wyoming Head coach Jeff Linder attributed a collective effort for a great win in front of fans and the families of the seniors who were on hand for the pregame ceremonies.

Wenzel led the way with 20 points, including eight straight to put the game away near the end of the fourth quarter. Griffin and Kot each added 19. Freshman Cam Manyawu added a career high 19 points of his own on a hot shooting night inside the Double A.

With the win, the Cowboys improve to 14 and 16 overall. Wyoming is now 7-and-10 in Mountain West play.

After a hot start to the second half, Wyoming was up by 19 points. Air Force fought back and made it a game, cutting the Cowboy lead to four at one point.

Wenzel, whose family traveled from San Antonio, Texas, to watch him close out his career, was on hand for his fireworks.

With the win, the Cowboys stop a four-game losing streak.

Wyoming will close out the regular season on Saturday against Fresno State in a five o’clock tip. Bigfoot 99 will have the game starting with the pre-game show at 4:30.
