The Wyoming Cowboys are back in action inside the Arena Auditorium tonight as the Mountain West Basketball season heads into the final month of the season.

Tonight Wyoming hosts the first place team in the conference, Number 22 Utah State.

The Aggies snapped a two-game losing streak Saturday with a 19-point, 80-61 win over Boise State. In USU’s two previous outings, Aggies had fallen to Nevada and San Diego State in its two previous outings. At 8-3 on the season, the Aggies still hold down the top spot in the league. Behind them, four teams are sitting at 7-4 and in the hunt for conference honors.

The Aggies begin a front range road trip beginning in Laramie. USU is 23-19 all-time against Wyoming and enter this game riding a three-game winning streak in the series. On the plus side for Wyoming, USU has dropped 12 of 18 games played in Laramie.

The Cowboys enter tonight’s game at 5-5 in conference play with a shot at making up ground in the final month of the season.

The action starts tonight with the pregame at 7:30 here on Bigfoot 99. The tip is set for 8 p.m.
