In sports, a big weekend of basketball is on tap for the Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls. Bigfoot 99 has a back-to-back doubleheader lined up for you on Saturday.

The action starts at 12:30 when the Wyoming women meet Colorado State for round two of this year’s Border War. The Cowgirls won the first meeting 67-63 in January. Tomorrow’s matchup is set for Fort Collins.

The Wyoming women are coming off a mid-season bye and should be rested and ready to go. The 9-3 Cowgirls are looking to bounce back from last Saturday’s conference loss to Boise State.

In Wyoming’s first meeting this season with the Rams, junior guard Emily Mellema scored a career-high 25 points and made seven 3-pointers in the win.  Colorado State is led by the reigning Mountain West Player of the Year, McKenna Hofschild, who leads the league in both scoring (23.6 PPG) and assists (7.3 APG)

Bigfoot 99 will be on the air with the pregame show at noon. Tip is set at 12:30 from Fort Collins.

In the late game, the Wyoming men will be in California for a contest with San Jose State.

The tip is set for 8 p.m. We’ll be on the air at 7:30 with the pregame show.
