With the first game of the Wyoming Cowboy football season just over two weeks away, fall camp in Laramie is heating up.

Quarterback Andrew Peasley is returning for his second year under center. Last year, Peasley came to Laramie from Utah State as a senior. The offensive system under head coach Craig Bohl was different than what he had experienced with the Aggies. Peasley had a lot to learn in a short amount of time. This week, #6 said his mindset going into this year is much more settled than this time a year ago.

Coach Bohl said this week that Peasley is smarter—“Making better decisions” was the phrase, and the quarterback’s arm strength is improved, as well. Peasley said looking back at Saturday’s scrimmage, the offense performed well overall. Some mistakes need to be cleaned up. The quarterback expressed a bright outlook for this year’s Cowboy team.

The Cowboys will be in half-pads today, then full pads tomorrow before another closed scrimmage on Saturday.
