Around the Mountain West Conference, #22 Air Force remained unbeaten with a convincing 17-6 win at Navy in the opening leg of the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy competition. The Falcons are now 7-and-0 on the season after the win Saturday afternoon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.

Air Force returns to action next Saturday, Oct. 28 at Colorado State.

Talking about the Rams, CSU fans had their hearts broken when UNLV sealed a 25-23 win with a walk-off field goal in Sin City. The last four minutes of Saturday’s game saw four lead changes.

The UNLV win puts the Rebels in the #2 spot in the Mountain West standings with a 6-and-1 record, 3-and-0 in league play.

Wyoming holds down the #3 spot in the conference standings. The 5-and-2 Cowboys are on the road to Boise State this week. The Broncos are holding down the five-spot in the Mountain West standings.

Fresno State at 6-and-1 are ranked fourth. The Bulldogs rallied late to beat Utah State 37-32 after blowing an 11-point, fourth-quarter lead on Friday night.
