The Utah Utes jumped into a tie this week for the #2 spot in the Big 12 power rankings with Texas Tech.
Utah comes to Laramie tomorrow to take on the Wyoming Cowboys inside War Memorial Stadium.
The Utes defeated Cal Poly last week 63-9. Sports writers noted that Utah got off to a slow start, punting the ball away on three of its first five drives.
After the lackluster start, the Utes revved up their engines and put together a blowout performance, combining for 518 total yards, seven offensive touchdowns and 24 first downs.
Utah quarterback Devon Dampier tied his single-game career high with three passing touchdowns against Cal Poly. He now has five passing touchdowns on the season.
If you’re going to the game in Laramie tomorrow, Gate 1 in the southwest corner of War Memorial Stadium will be open after being closed last week because of construction. More entry points and ticket scanners have been added to Gate 6 near Tailgate Alley.
Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. The Laramie weather forecast calls for afternoon showers and temperatures in the low to middle 60s. So be prepared.
Bigfoot 99 will have the radio broadcast beginning at 4:30.
