Following the mid-December snowstorm that shut down Interstate 80 for several days, the Road and Bridge Department was contacted by the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office to clear a path for a tow truck that was attempting to retrieve a semi stranded in snow near the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest.
County employees spent almost an entire workday trying to clear a path for the trucks, something that Superintendent Kandis Fritz does not want to happen again. Cali O’Hare reports.
