BREAKING NEWS: The waters supply system in Rawlins suffered an extensive failure Thursday morning. City officials are asking to residents not to use water unless it is absolutely essential. Carbon County Emergency Management System has been activated to help with the situation. The failure came as the city was preparing to bring its recently repaired pipeline back online. Rawlins asking residents to conserve water as contractors prepare to bring Sage Creek pipeline back online
The City of Rawlins is once again asking residents to conserve water, this time out of an abundance of caution, as contractors prepare to bring the 32-mile pipeline that flows water from the Sage Creek Basin to the treatment plant back online this month.
