Average gasoline prices in Wyoming rose more than 2 cents per gallon in the last week, continuing a trend that began last month after a year of falling prices. On Monday, the average price of a gallon of gas in Wyoming was $2.69 per gallon.
Gas Buddy-dot com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming showed that prices in Wyoming are 14.3 cents per gallon higher than one month ago.
Despite the slow rise in cost over the last month, the price at the pump still stands 26.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to the cost report, the lowest price in Wyoming on Sunday was $2.29 per gallon, while the highest was $3.19, a difference of 90 cents per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline rose nearly six cents per gallon in the last week and averaged $2.94 per gallon this week. The national average is up nearly eight cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 10.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
The national average price of diesel has increased 5.4 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.740 per gallon.
According to AAA, the national average of gasoline was $3.10 as of yesterday, March 3, 2026. One year ago, AAA lists the average price as $ 3.09 per gallon, wiping away the savings American consumers have enjoyed.
