World long‑drive record holder Kyle Berkshire has broken his own record.
In October of 2023, professional golfer Kyle Berkshire set the world long‑drive record at the Rochelle Ranch Golf Course in Rawlins with a 579.66‑yard drive. Last week, he returned to Rawlins to try to surpass that distance, and on Wednesday he did so with a 588‑yard drive.
Berkshire had originally stated that he could reach 600 yards at the Rawlins Rochelle Ranch Golf Course because of its long fairways, but after spending a week there he ran out of time before accomplishing that goal. It is unclear if he will return for another chance to break his own record.
His 588-yard drive remains unofficial, as Berkshire’s team has not publicly confirmed the record‑setting shot at this time.
