Win prize money and support your county library by participating in the Winter Bingo Fundraiser.

Next Saturday, February 24th, the Carbon County Library Foundation is hosting a fundraiser bingo event in restaurant at the Rochelle Ranch Golf Course.

Carbon County Library Foundation President Karianne Robinson said the library has held a variety of fundraising events in the past. Robinson said people expressed interest in having a bingo game to support the library.

Carbon County Library Foundation Treasurer Jenita Calton said for $1 attendees will receive six bingo cards. Calton said the cards can be played all at once or one at a time.  The library foundation treasurer said the winner of each game will receive 65% of the money collected during that round.

The remaining money raised during the Winter Bingo Fundraiser will go to support all eight Carbon County library branches. Treasurer Calton said the Carbon County Library Foundation also uses fundraiser money to offer college assistance and show appreciation to library employees.

The Rawlins Senior Center staff has generously offered their bingo cage for next weekend’s event. Library Foundation President Robinson thanked the other organizations who contributed to the Winter Bingo Fundraiser.

The Carbon County Library Foundation’s Winter Bingo Fundraiser is this Saturday, February 24th, at the Rochelle Ranch Golf Course restaurant from 2:00 to 4:00pm. The library foundation staff said the fundraiser will be a fun family friendly event on a cold February afternoon.
