The Carbon County Visitor’s Council has a new website and logo.

To entice more visitors to experience the beauty of our area, the Carbon County Visitor’s Council has undergone a rebranding. Gone is the old “Get Your West On” slogan and red text box saying, “Carbon County WY.” In its place is a white rectangle with Carbon County written in dark gray and the outline of a mountain. “Discover Wyoming,” is written in light blue above and below the gray text.

According to Carbon County Visitor’s Council Chief Executive Officer Leslie Jefferson the rebranding is meant to attract visitors to “Discover Carbon County Wyoming” and all it has to offer. Jefferson said people should experience the outdoor recreation opportunities, historic past, mineral hot springs, scenic drives, and wide-open spaces of Carbon County.

CCVC’s new logo was designed by Danny Burau over the course of five months. The finalized design was chosen in January of this year.

While the logo was undergoing a complete redesign, the Visitor’s Council website was being overhauled as well.

Jefferson said the new website was created by a company called Waves Web Design. With the new logo in place, the web design company created new artwork and a new tagline, “Adventure Out.”

Go to the Carbon County Visitor’s council website at www.wyomingcarboncounty.com to view the new artwork. Or visit the CCVC office in Rawlins, at 105 East Cedar Street.
