Also in statewide news, Casper businessman Reid Rasner announced on Wednesday he will be running for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Rasner will face Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray for the state’s sole seat in the House.
Rasner, founder of Omnivest Financial, announced his campaign on Facebook.
Rasner previously ran for U.S. Senator John Barrasso’s seat in 2024 but was defeated by more than 40 percentage points in the primary.
Rasner graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in English literature.
