A few dozen City of Rawlins employees removed hundreds of pounds of trash from the four mile stretch of Interstate 80 between the east and west entrances at a cleanup held late last week. It’s part of an ongoing effort by city officials and staff to walk the talk.

Beautification is one of five directives identified by municipal leaders and adopted by the governing body in the Strategic Plan. Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare spoke with the event organizers and filed this report.
