In Rawlins, the new code enforcement officer has been busy, but not because he’s writing tickets. In fact, he says issuing citations is a last resort.

Instead, he’s working with citizens and businesses to provide education about local ordinances and any violations he’s observed.

Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare sat down with the new code enforcement officer Wednesday and filed this report.

The new code enforcement officer encourages people to reach out to him with their concerns, questions and suggestions using the request tracker feature on the city’s website, at rawlinswy.org/concern. He can also be reached at 307-328-4530.
