And a correction to yesterday’s story about the Carbon County Library System’s updated branch hours.
In her initial email, Interim Library Director Jenita Calton wrote that, thanks to support from the Saratoga Friends of the Library, the Saratoga branch will be open 30 hours a week, including 1 to 6 p.m. on Mondays.
After hearing the story about the system’s new hours, Calton emailed Bigfoot99 and Bandit102 to correct the Saratoga branch’s Monday schedule, saying the hours will actually be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Additionally, we reported that the Board of Carbon County Commissioners donated $30,000 to be split evenly among the county’s seven branches. However, that money is allocated only for the six outlying libraries, which excludes the Rawlins branch.
