The deadline to submit applications to be considered for a college scholarship from the Board of Carbon County Commissioners is fast approaching.

The county’s top five elected officials have set aside funds in the county’s annual budget for more than the last decade to help local students attend the University of Wyoming or any in-state community college. Cali O’Hare has all the details.

Scholarship applications are due on the last Friday in April, the 29th at 5 p.m.
