A representative from the University of Wyoming’s extension office in Rawlins came up with an idea to plant interactive, educational gardens as the landscaping surrounding the Carbon Building and county courthouse, once the renovations at both buildings are complete.

Due to ongoing construction, the first demonstration garden will be installed elsewhere in Rawlins using a recently awarded grant. Cali O’Hare has the story.
