A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 130 sent two people to the hospital.

On Wednesday evening, two vehicles collided at the junction of Highway 130 and Brush Creek Road, west of the Snowy Range. Saratoga Police Chief Mike Morris described the event.

Chief Morris said three different fire departments responded to the scene. Two people were taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbon County with unknown injuries. Chief Morris said one victim was trapped in the wreckage. The police chief said fire fighters had to cut the victim out of their vehicle.

No further details about the crash have been released. Chief Morris said Wyoming Highway Patrol is handling the investigation. Multiple calls to Highway Patrol’s acting public information officer Lieutenant Kyle McKay have gone unanswered.
