The 20-year-old Missouri man, a convicted sex offender, who fired at a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper following a traffic stop near Elk Mountain last month, waived his speedy preliminary hearing yesterday. The hearing will be reset in circuit court before his case heads to the district court. Cali O’Hare has an update.
