More information has been released about the crash on Snowy Range Road that sent two people to the hospital.

Last Wednesday, August 23rd, at 5:32 pm, the Wyoming Highway Patrol responded to the intersection of Highway 130 and Brush Creek Ranch Road. Highway Patrol Trooper Ryan Gerdes said two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash.

Trooper Gerdes said speed and alcohol use are being investigated as potential causes for the crash. Gerdes said the Wyoming Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.

Trooper Gerdes said he did not know the condition of the two crash victims. Gerdes said one person was taken to the North Platte Valley Medical Center in Saratoga, while the other was transported to Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie.

Trooper Gerdes said the crash victims’ identities are being withheld until Carbon County Prosecutor Sarah Chavez Harkins determines if any charges will be filed against those involved.
