The Saratoga Town Council last night decided to postpone appointing a new mayor until at least after the November election.

Most of the four remaining members of the governing body decided to wait until new council people are elected so their input can be considered.

The final decision could be put off until the new council is seated in January. Emma Diercks has the story.
