The Platte Valley Arts Council invites the public to join them on Saturday, September 3rd for the Public Art Project Grand Reveal Event.

Starting at 11 a.m. at the Platte Valley Community Center, the artists commissioned to complete the seven new murals and sculptures will be introduced. The artists are Lori Kostur, John Perue, Sierra Smith, Jerry Wood, Jamie Waugh, and Jerry Palen, who will be honored posthumously. The project’s major donors and site hosts also will be recognized. Teense Willford will be the Master of Ceremonies.

Beginning at 1 p.m., everyone can set out to visit all the newly installed murals and sculptures in their various locations around the Valley. A handout with a map will be distributed. Each of the six artists will be present at their location to answer questions.
