New details have emerged regarding the physical altercation between two Republican party county chairmen at a convention this weekend.

A report from the Gillette Police Department states that Mike Pearce of Laramie, who was hospitalized with injuries sustained in the fight, was charged with assault and battery after an altercation.

Police say Joey Correnti of Saratoga, a candidate for House District 47, acted in self-defense and was not charged. Emma Diercks has the story.
