Just a reminder: Carbon Power and Light will conduct a three-hour power outage this Sunday in Saratoga. The planned outage will allow crews to upgrade voltage regulators at a substation as part on an ongoing maintenance program.

The regulators smooth out spikes and dips in voltages that can damage electrical equipment. The units are replaced periodically on a planned maintenance schedule, similar to an oil change for your car.

The outage will affect Carbon Power services in Saratoga, including areas east and west of town, north to the Pic Pike Road and south to Spring Creek.

The outage is planned for Sunday morning, 5:30 to 8:30 a.m., August 21st.
