In Rawlins, the splash pad project was rebid for the third time, and city officials will be asked to award the project at tomorrow night’s meeting.

The Rawlins City Council previously awarded the bids for the utility and restoration work at the project site, but rejected all splash pad bids submitted during the first two rounds on the basis that they were either over budget, or did not meet statutory requirements. As a result, the project is more than a year behind schedule.
