To prevent all retail and commercial businesses located in the industrial zone from having to apply for special use permits, the Rawlins City Council has passed on first reading an ordinance rescinding municipal code Title 19: Zoning.

The issue first surfaced as a result of Liquor License #99, owned by Sunnyside Liquor, which is currently located in the industrial zone. Cali O’Hare has the latest update.
