Nearly 100 police officers have died in the line of duty in the first four months of this year, putting 2021 on track to be the deadliest year in recent history for law enforcement.

This week is National Police Week, and the Rawlins PD is holding a special flag ceremony to honor all those who have died. An open house where citizens can meet local law enforcement is also planned. Cali O’Hare has details.
