The woman who worked in the Saratoga bar and restaurant industry and now stands accused of shooting at her boyfriend’s home in the town has entered a plea of not guilty.

Victoria Rose Tidball, age 28, allegedly fired over 40 pistol rounds at the home and vehicle of Bradley McBride on the east side of town in the early morning hours of December 16, 2023. Court documents state that Tidball and McBride, who were dating at the time, got into a heated argument about McBride’s dog. The victim, who lives on the 300 block of North Veterans Street, was uninjured in the attack.

During a news conference held on December 19th, Saratoga Police Chief Mike Morris described the incident.

After the shooting, Tidball took shelter with 32-year-old Cody Ellenson. On December 16th, later in the day, Ellenson allegedly committed a robbery at the Whistle Pig Saloon, where he was employed at the time.

Speaking at the December 19th press conference, Chief Morris said Tidball and Ellenson fled the area after the incident.

Tidball turned herself in 11 days later. The female suspect was taken into custody in Dawson County, Nebraska.

Ellenson remained on the run until March 14th when he was arrested in Wakulla County, Florida. The male suspect was extradited to Cambell County, Wyoming to face a sex offense of a minor charge. Afterwards, Ellenson will be returned to Carbon County to face a burglary charge stemming from the December 16th incident.

After her December 27th arrest, Tidball was taken back to Carbon County to face eight charges, including attempted first-degree murder.

Tidball was arraigned on March 18th, where she pleaded not guilty. A pretrial conference has been scheduled for June 17th to allow Tidball’s defense attorney, Public Defender Sergio Lemus, to review the evidence against his client and try to resolve the matter before it heads to trial.

If an agreement cannot be reached, Tidball will go to trial on July 16th in Carbon County Circuit Court.

Tidball is currently being held in the Carbon County Jail in Rawlins on a $100,000 cash bond.
