In Baggs, the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek information about a 66-year-old man who went missing last month. Kris Mortenson Ziegler was last reported seen on Sunday, July 18th around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Wyoming Highways 70 and 789.

According to a news release from the Sheriff’s department at the time, Ziegler, who was known to be living in the area, was dropped off in Baggs just after dark. He has not been in contact with anyone since then. Sheriff Archie Roybal told Bigfoot 99 Wednesday that his office is still pursuing leads.

 

A criminal investigator was assigned to the case. Ziegler is described as white male, 5’11” in height and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, blue sweatpants and black lace up boots. To provide or request any additional information, please contact the Sheriff’s office at 324-2776.
