Highway 30/287 between Medicine Bow and Bosler reopened to traffic Thursday afternoon. All lanes had been closed near mile marker 290 for several days because of a sinkhole that had developed. Jordan Achs said the investigation showed the hole was the result of a collapsed culvert.

The four-foot hole developed after the heavy rains on Monday morning. Achs said WYDOT made it a top priority to have the road open in time for the University of Wyoming home football game on Saturday.
