The Wyoming Cowboys open Mountain West Tournament action today against UNLV at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Wyoming is ranked as a ninth seed. The Rebels come in as the 8th seed.
Wyoming heads into the contest with a 18-13 overall record and finished 9-11 in conference play downing San Jose State 88-78 on Saturday.
UNLV finished the regular season with a 16-15 record overall, 11-9 in conference play.
After Wyoming’s win on Saturday against San Jose State, Wyoming Head Coach Sundance Wicks looked ahead to today’s match-up this way.
The winner of today’s contest will face top-seeded Utah State on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
