In college basketball action on Wednesday morning, the Wyoming Cowgirls squandered an early lead and lost to Air Force in overtime 69-61.

Wyoming turned the ball over six times in the fourth quarter when Air Force outscored the Cowgirls by seven points to force overtime.

The Cowgirls only scored two points in the extra period. The Falcons scored 10.

The loss drops Wyoming to 6-12 in conference play. Air Force improved to 7-11.

The Cowgirls travel to face conference-leading San Diego State on Saturday afternoon.
