The Gem City is set for the opening day of Wyoming football. The Red Raiders of Texas Tech fly into Laramie later today. Head coach Joey McGuire is worried about Laramie’s elevation of 7,165 feet.
Cowboy head coach Craig Bohl appeared relaxed and confident at this week’s news conference. Bohl clicked through the standout names on his roster and seemed more concerned about the size of the Red Raiders when they come out for Saturday evening’s matchup at the War.
The head coach expressed confidence in the team he and his coaching staff are putting on the field this year. The Cowboy roster contains a lot of familiar names and battle-tested players.
Bohl said he has enjoyed working with this year’s Cowboy team, but started off the news conference saying that you really don’t know what kind of squad you have until about the second quarter of the opening game of the season.
